I developed twelve Visual Basic 6 applications to provide a user interface for the new database. Some of these applications were for use by ITD District personnel throughout the state. I later upgraded legacy VB6 applications to the .NET 2.0 Framework and expanded the original functionality. These were programs that I originally designed for their EMS SQL Server database between 1999 and 2001. The applications have since been rolled out on the .NET 3.51 Framework. Electronics Experience,- As a senior technician I carried out testing, tuning, and analysis performed at the component level, using a wide range of electronic measuring equipment. Duties also included writing Visual BASIC 3.0 and Instrument BASIC programs for the automation of test procedures. Worked closely with Engineering on specifications for new designs and on developing test procedures for new designs and prototype models. While working for HewlettPackard, I was responsible for testing, repairing, and upgrading HP Palmtop series computers, HP 41 series calculators, HP Omnibook computers, HP Vectra computers, Toshiba laptop computers, HP Fax machines, and the HP DeskJet line of printers.
