My name is Ganesh Kakvipure and I have 8 yrs of experience in Software development for Mobile devices.

I have been building applications and leading the team to build enterprise applications built for scale.

My core expertise lies in building Mobile applications on Android with Java & Kotlin and building hybrid applications for Android and iOS platforms.

As I have extensive experience in Fintech, I have exposure to enterprise-grade application security.

Recently, I worked on an android application named soft POS. It is Southeast Asia’s, first Mobile Based POS terminal for Mastercard that is targeted at 21 million merchants and have extensive experience in the Banking domain.

This particular app is built for 40+ Banks in India which are rolling out one by one.

Recently, Indian Bank released the SoftPOS application on the play store that was built under my leadership. The application name is "Indian Bank SoftPOS". This particular application transforms the mobile phone into an EDC machine that can collect payments, including credit cards. I have used the Native functionality and hardware capability of the mobile phone in order to read the card information and then securely relay the same to the payment processors for processing the transactions. This application is built by following all the security parameters and compliances such as PCI DSS and CPOC.

The security of this application has been verified and attested by the Financial institution.

This application is built on the Modular architecture, keeping in mind the scalability and customer's ever-changing requirements.

As this application is targeted at 40+ banks in phase 1 serving more than 21 million merchants, the management of the code base was challenging. Git was used for version controlling with well-defined nomenclature and branching strategy that made the code base management task easy and maintainable for 40 banks under 1 repo.

In my 8 years of experience, I have good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, AGILE, and SCRUM methodologies.

My strongest skills are developing Android Applications in Java and Kotlin. And Flutter applications for Android and iOS platforms.

I have developed 36 Mobile applications which are live on Playstore. And 17 applications that are built for the closed groups for the client's internal processes.
