My name is Gabriela Zifferman. I'm a web designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2019 I graduated from Maimonides University with a degree in Multimedia Technology and I have been working independently creating websites from scratch since 2015.
Throughout my short working experience and as a student I could work for a variety of clients in Argentina, Italy and the United States. The diversity of clients' fields of expertise has allowed me to explore different areas of multimedia design: from graphic design, UX / UI to web design and programming, etc. For the last three years, I have been focused on working as a UX / UI and web designer ( HTML, CSS, JS, PHP ), working with CMS technologies such as Wordpress.
I'm a self-taught, independent, outgoing person; I'm passionate about interacting with people from different backgrounds and disciplines through my work; which is why I like to work remotely, with teams distributed around the world. I have been studying English since I was 7 years old and have been working in cultural exchange events as a coordinator since 2017; generating a great capacity for communication with people from all over the world.
In 2015 I started working independently designing and developing websites in HTML, using style libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, Bulma and PHP frameworks such as Cake.php and Javascript frameworks such as Jquery, Angular and React.
During 2018 I worked on my thesis for which I researched how women picture themselves on Instagram. I analyzed 500 images of women users obtained through a web scraping process; created a model that can be used to train an artificial intelligence algorithm and designed and developed a website displaying the results: www.likeadas.gabyzif.com.
In May 2019 I started working in a remote team based in the United States as a UX / UI designer. I design wireframes following the atomic design model, web solutions, Wordpress template-based websites, presentations, user guides. I have also created Wordpress sites based on designed templates.
Today I'm looking forward to finding a remote job that allows me to grow as a designer and person.
