About

About Me

I am a cybersecurity engineer focused on understanding how modern systems are attacked and how organizations can build stronger defenses against those threats. My work sits at the intersection of offensive security, threat detection, and security engineering. I believe that effective cybersecurity requires more than theoretical knowledge it requires hands-on experimentation, continuous learning, and the ability to think like an attacker while building systems that detect and stop malicious activity.

My journey into cybersecurity began with a strong interest in how digital systems operate beneath the surface. As I explored networking, operating systems, and web technologies, I became increasingly interested in the security weaknesses that attackers exploit and the strategies organizations use to defend their infrastructure. This curiosity led me to begin building practical security labs where I could simulate attacks, analyze system behavior, and develop detection techniques.

A significant part of my work involves studying common web and API vulnerabilities such as broken access control, IDOR, XSS, and server-side flaws. Understanding how these vulnerabilities occur helps me evaluate application security from an attacker’s perspective while also identifying ways developers can build more resilient systems.

In addition to application security, I have developed a strong interest in threat detection and security monitoring. I regularly experiment with log analysis and SIEM-based detection to understand how suspicious patterns and attacker behavior can be identified within system activity. Logs often reveal the hidden story behind security incidents, and learning how to interpret those signals is an essential skill for modern security operations.

I also value knowledge sharing within the cybersecurity community. I document my learning, research, and security projects through technical write-ups and online platforms. This process helps reinforce my understanding while contributing practical insights that may help others navigating similar learning paths.

As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, my goal is to keep developing as a security professional who can bridge the gap between offensive testing and defensive monitoring. I am particularly interested in roles that involve security engineering, threat detection, and infrastructure protection, where I can contribute to building systems that proactively identify risks and reduce the likelihood of successful attacks.

Cybersecurity is ultimately about protecting the systems people rely on every day. Being part of that mission is what drives my commitment to continuous growth and improvement in this field.
