MD Insider is a med-tech company that uses machine learning to
analyze billions of medical records to generate performance
insights about healthcare facilities (e.g hospitals) and providers
(including doctors, nurses, therapists, etc).
Joined the engineering team as a Full-Stack Software Engineer in
August 2018.
Owns and leads all development and maintenance work on the
(React) front-end and (Node.js) back-end of our apps.
Worked on the company’s apps that eventually enabled us to be
acquired by Accolade Inc in July 2019.
Helped improve the load time, SEO and accessibility of some of
our apps by over 40%.
Helped mentor/support junior engineers and some senior
engineers on the team in various parts of JavaScript full-stack
development using my expertise and experience.
Helped reduce vulnerabilities in some of our products by over
99.91%.

Joined the engineering team in August 2017.
Worked on many tickets as the company built the v1.5.0 major
release of its product.
Fleshed out and implemented many features, including the

Software Engineer, GRIT Systems

GRIT Systems is an electric metering company that produces
smart, web-enabled electricity meters.
Developed the company’s first Android app from scratch using
Kotlin, Android Studio and Firebase.
The app also had secure login, built-in analytics, crash and error
reporting and push notifications.

Published the app on Google Play Store, helped provide
upgrades to it and attended to bug reports.
Built a system for exporting electric power usage data to CSV
spreadsheets.
Linked the export functionality to the Google Sheets API for easy
use.
