FInance Professional British Telecom- BT September 2014 to July 2017 September 2014 to July 2017 I worked in 6 month rotations between the different sub-teams within Group Transformation at BT; the opportunity discovery team, revenue assurance and the implementation team. • Discovery team: Key achievement was I strengthened my financial data analysis skills. Here, during my first rotation I was able to identify c.£11m of opportunity through FTE efficiency and management spans analysis in the sales department of the BT France business, which was signed off by senior management. • Revenue assurance: worked as an auditor looking at Managed Broadband contracts with BT's most valued customers. Here I identified various revenue leakages due to oversights of contractual commitments, recovered any monies owed to BT as a result of this and plugged any leakage areas to avoid repeat billing errors. • Implementation: Managed a programme which aimed to centralise BT's pay plan teams into a centre of excellence which now sits in B&PS. Being the Programme Manager for the initiative involved carrying out analysis to identify the scope of the opportunity then planning and overseeing the process of moving individuals into the centre of excellence in a manner that would maximise efficiency gains without disrupting the vital service provided by BT's pay plan teams. • Final rotation is within the IMO (Integration Management Office) which is the team responsible for managing the integration of EE into BT Group. I joined the team post-acquisition and have since been doing financial control work centrally for the programme, working with key stakeholders across the business to manage the tracking and reporting of synergy benefits as well as the central budget assigned to Andy Wells for the Integration (up to MD and CFO level).
