I studied the culture, system and theory of fashion from historical and contemporary perspectives. I approached

fashion research with both theoretical and material outlooks and developed skills for carrying out an autonomous
and original investigation using diverse primary sources. Thanks to the elective courses and my final thesis, I could
also cultivate my other interests in cinema and literature and develop my own thoughts within the independent
branch of costume studies.
Final Thesis: Translating History of Fashion on Screen: A study of Piero Tosi's costumes in Senso and their power of
divulgation as historiophoty.
❖ Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures

I studied English and Spanish languages and literatures, their evolution from medieval times to contemporaneity
together with historical, artistic and cultural movements in England and Spain. I developed skills in the translations
to and from these languages. I learned to be independent, critical and original when analyzing and interpreting
a text. During-, I was an Erasmus student in the UK, at Reading University, and I won a final bonus grant
for the results achieved in that period.
Final Thesis: The Profitable Reading of Clothes: Functions of Dress in three novels.

In 2022, I catalogued 12 paintings and 23 gowns on the National Heritage Catalogue digital platform (SIGEC)
using the national standard datasheets for historical dresses and paintings (VEAC);

In the same year, I wrote texts in Italian and English for the didactic panels for the new thematic trail on the
jewel;
▪
From 2018 on, I contributed to the publication of the museum guidebook and other volumes on donations
and fine arts;

In 2018, I conducted didactic activities centered on fashion for high school students.
❖ Costume designer and set costumer
I have worked as both head costume designer for an independent production (the short movie "Il
Nascondiglio del Lupo" by Silvia Estella Ondina Sanna) and as an intern and on-call support on bigger
productions. In these occasions, I also had to employ my basic sewing skills.

through story-telling, exhibitions, planning of digital databases, filing of datasheets and other archival activities.

❖ 1-year Course on Performance Costume

I reinforced my knowledge of the history of fashion and acquired basic skills to interpret a dramatic text, to plan
and design costumes and to make and stage them for the final show. I attended classes held by renowned
