My name is Fisseha Shiferie. I completed my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from Addis Ababa University and my master’s in international public health from the French EHESP in France.
I am currently working as a Research and Knowledge Management Advisor in Project HOPE in Addis Ababa. I have extensive experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research. To date, I have published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals. I have a wealth of experience in the development of research protocols & standard operating procedures (SOPs); preparation of training manuals & data collection tools for both qualitative & quantitative studies; preparation of monitoring & assessment tools for donor-funded projects, design of data collection tools on tool designing platforms such as ODK, Survey Solutions & CommCare; Data management, analysis & visualization using ArcGIS/qGIS and Microsoft Power BI; developing technical abstracts, articles and conference presentations; presenting articles in international conferences, manuscript preparation and publication. I am also contributing to grant & proposal development.
