I am a multifaceted professional with a First-Class degree in Biology and a diverse background that spans academic editing, research, education, and customer service. My professional journey reflects a strong commitment to detail, clarity, and quality—skills that allow me to thrive in both technical and creative environments.

My most extensive experience lies in academic editing, particularly in the life sciences and medical fields. As an academic editor with Cactus Communications, I have helped numerous researchers refine their manuscripts for clarity, flow, grammar, structure, and adherence to journal guidelines. I’m well-versed in various citation styles, including APA, MLA, and Harvard, and I often assist with preparing cover letters and providing feedback to improve the overall quality of submissions.

In addition to editing, I’ve worked in educational settings as a Graduate/Teaching Assistant, where I was responsible for preparing lecture materials, grading assignments, and maintaining academic standards. This role enhanced my ability to explain complex ideas, manage time effectively, and collaborate within structured environments.

Outside the academic world, I’ve managed my own pastry business, where I created custom cakes, handled client relations, trained interns, and developed marketing content.
