Fernando Barbosa Gomes

I'm a Brazilian and Portuguese ( EU ) citizen.

Started programming when I was eleven years old, I have been through a myriad of programming languages and frameworks.

Graduated as a computer engineer ranking 2th, with a joint degree between the University of Kansas(United States of America) and Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas(Brazil), specialized in Interaction Design by the University of California and initiated in Machine Learning by the University of Stanford.

I did research in machine learning for natural language processing, worked as a data governor, front and back end engineer (using Java,Spring, JS, React), quality assurance engineer and currently hold a job as a high performance computing specialist. As a side I develop websites and apps using PHP and JavaScript.

I am currently learning the German language and I am looking for a remote job so I have the flexibility to relocate to Germany or Swiss.
