EXPERIENCE
2020 – SGFD – proofread and corrected cover letters and proposals written by non-native English
speaking company. This is a financial consulting organization which had the texts
translated from Portuguese. Major work regarding improving sentence
construction, spelling, punctuation, and content.
2020 - Loken Enterprises, Inc.
Freelance position to proofread Employee Handbook. I was able to correct spelling,
grammar and punctuation. At the clients’ request, I offered recommendations to some
vocabulary changes which were favorably accepted.
2015 – Present
VP Design and Co-owner, Solo Licensing Corp. More than 20 years of experience in
creating and directing all product design, development, and marketing for
women’s and children’s knitted accessories. Also, traveled world-wide to
manufacturers for product development and quality control. I edited
all advertising and promotional materials. I successfully managed a staff of
15 full time and 5 freelancers many detail-oriented garments- – Part-time instructor at Fashion Institute of Technology in knitwear design
and communication for the fashion Industry.
