Troubleshooting typical OGG technical problems. Performance Tuning Monitor DB performance requested by Application team and shared details with Application team and work with them accordingly. Monitoring the system bottlenecks at Disk level or Instance level and tuning for them. Tuning the indexes to make them usable and the index rebuilding operation faster. Rebuilding the indexes with compress, parallel option after choosing an appropriate value for these options. Managing the explain plan of SQL queries and explain plan consistency. Tuning the SQL queries by creating sql profiles and managing stored outlines to set optimized plan for optimizer. SQL Tuning by running SQL tuning advisor for poorly performing SQL queries and shared the findings with Application team. Tuning RMAN by identifying RMAN processes at O.S level and Monitoring RMAN jobs. Fetching the the AWR, ADDM,ASH reports and analyse them. Restoring table stats from Production to Non-prod to improve SQL performance. Fixing the optimal execution plan for better performance of SQL queries. Fixing the SQL profile by running SQL tuning advisor manually for culprit SQL. Maintaining objects statistics ,stale stats for better performance. Analyse and Tuning different wait events at DB level. ASM (Automatic Storage Management) Configure and managing ASM with Library and without Library. Create and managing Disk group. Involved in configuring of ASM databases and migration of Non-ASM databases to ASM databases using RMAN utility. Defining ASM Disk group as a backup destination and copying files to from ASM disk group. Oracle 11g/12c RAC (Real Application Cluster) Installation and Configuration of Oracle 11g/12c RAC on Red hat linux 6.6 platform successfully. Administering Database storage through Oracle ASM . Responsible for scheduling the schema level expdp backup and transfer this backup from production to VPS server. Gathering schema’s and tables statistics,rebuilding indexes to improve the performance of application.
