Development is at the core of what I do and has been my life’s work. I love

intuition, practical and transformational. Whether it’s a 1:1 session or a
group session, they are always well structured and comprise of in-depth

learning, knowledge, and communication platform for FTSE 100 and
Fortune 500 companies. Fuse Universal Ltd. is based in London, Shoreditch
and Cape Town, South Africa.
+ Responsibilities:
+ Built and managed all Human Resources for Fuse Universal Cape Town
Branch, coordinating all communication between employees and CFO in
London. Responsible for the management, personal and professional
- |-development, team growth and office culture for 22 staff in the Cape
Town branch of Fuse Universal. Managed the operations for the Cape
Town office which consists of staff management, HR (leave management,
on-boarding, off-boarding, hiring, salary reviews, conflict resolution,
disciplinary and grievance, basic company policies and procedures and
employment contracts to name a few), budget management and office
management. Developed all processes for office and team functionality.
Created a culture of fairness, fun and mutual respect whilst upholding
company standards. Key player in hiring all senior management roles.
Developed salary review and salary increase process for all staff.
Developed new employment contracts for all staff aligned with London’s
policies and created fairness across both offices. Built strong relationships
with senior management and hiring managers to enable systematic
decision making across the team. Managed and selected benefits
programs for medical aid and retirement annuity. Managed entire
recruitment process, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing,
selection and on-boarding. Reported into CFO on a weekly basis.
Traveled to London for staff meetings and conferences. Managed bimonthly senior management meetings with the leadership team,
managing Cape Town leadership weekly meetings as well as weekly and
bi-monthly staff 1:1 meetings for all staff.

+ GetSmarter/2U is an international organisation who partners with the
world’s leading universities to offer the highest quality, career-focused
online short courses. They do this to help working professionals around the
world acquire new skills and advance their careers.
+ Responsibilities:
+ People manager for 8 staff. Direct reportees consisted of 3 housekeepers,
barista, company driver, team assistant, facilities and Occupational
Health and Safety (OHS) coordinator and Head of health and wellness.
Managed team development, weekly 1:1 meetings focusing on personal
and professional development as well as staff training. HR comprising of
leave management, team on-boarding and off-boarding, hiring, salary
reviews, conflict resolution, disciplinary and grievance, quarterly goals
aligning with the company 1 year strategic plan. Budget management of
+- R350k per month which included processing of all payments, submitting
invoices, recon statements, budget forecasting and monthly cost savings.
Purchasing of all consumables, materials and equipment for 280 staff.
Managed onsite security, in-house canteen, night time cleaning and
company parking. Managed 3200m2 facility maintenance and
relationship management for 60+ suppliers. Lead OHS as 16.2.
Development of office design and office growth. Office movement and
new hire set up. Managed campaigns: UCT Information systems lab
upgrade, GetSmarter kitchen overhaul and upgrade and GetSmarter
office upgrades. Managed process development, communication and
change management for international expansion for the entire team.

based in JHB, Uganda, Rwanda, Swaziland, Zambia and Cape Town
(which has since closed). I was based in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
+ Responsibilities:
+ People manager for 8 staff. Direct reportees consisted of 2 housekeepers,
2 tea ladies, receptionist, maintenance assistant, and company driver
and security. Office Management of two storey building with +-200 staff.
Development of office space, Lead OHS, management of weekly staff
events. Supplier management of +-50 suppliers and Landlord
management. Office movement and new hire setup, purchasing of all
consumables, materials and equipment. Budget management, submitting

Managing registrations, web enquiries and accounts for +-1000 campers
per month. Follow up on monthly payments; take daily telephonic
enquiries from campers, managing a range of camps in the south of
Gauteng, liaising with camp managers on all camper related issues,
reaching monthly targets to get all payments up to date. Computer
software used: Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (PC).
