Fahad Hussain Shaikh

I’m a recent graduate in Software Engineering from Centennial College, with a strong foundation in data analytics, back-end development, and artificial intelligence. Since completing my studies in 2023, I’ve been focused on applying my technical skills in real-world contexts—working on personal projects, expanding my knowledge in cloud computing and big data tools, and actively seeking opportunities to contribute to innovative, data-driven teams.

My technical background includes hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Java, Spark, and Tableau. I’ve built full data pipelines, written custom ETL scripts, and developed visual dashboards that turn raw data into clear, actionable insights. In projects ranging from analyzing Toronto traffic collision data to exploring SpaceX launch records via API integration, I’ve gained experience in data wrangling, visualization, and statistical analysis. I’m also comfortable working with large datasets and building tools that drive smarter business decisions.

Creativity and curiosity drive me. Outside of programming, I enjoy designing logos, following Formula 1 and aviation trends, and experimenting with new technologies. I thrive when I’m solving problems, especially when they involve uncovering patterns in data or improving system efficiency.

Professionally, I bring more than just technical knowledge. My background includes working in fast-paced, customer-facing roles where I answered 60–80 inbound calls per shift, handled inquiries via phone and email, and maintained detailed records of client interactions. These experiences taught me the value of empathy, active listening, and clear communication—skills that translate directly into how I approach teamwork and client collaboration in technical environments.

Since graduating, I’ve maintained a structured routine that balances freelance work, skill development, and job applications. I’ve stayed consistent by managing my time effectively and setting daily goals, whether that’s learning a new framework, completing a Coursera course, or fine-tuning a project for my portfolio.

Now, I’m eager to bring my skills, mindset, and adaptability to a junior-level role in data analytics, software development, or business intelligence. I’m looking for a team where I can grow, contribute meaningfully, and continue learning in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
