 F. BRAUN McASH Professional actor and fight choreographer since 1976. Acted and choreographed for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the Shaw Festival, the Canadian Opera Company, the Grand Theatre and many others. (56 productions of Shakespeare alone) Also choreographs extensively for film and television including being the Swordmaster for the TV series HIGHIGHLANDER (seasons 3 – 6) and the 4th H’LNDR movie, Endgame. Also TV series such as Smallville, Mythquest, Once Upon A Time, etc. Full resume listings on request. Stage and historical weapons instructor since 1978, including over 30 university and theatre schools, and national and international workshops such as the Paddy Crean International Combat Workshop (2000 – 2018) the Vancouver International Sword Symposium, the Union of British Columbia Performers/ACTRA, and many others. Also private instruction in both sword and self-defense martial arts. Weapons I have instructed: katana, medieval weapons (sword and shield, single sword, longsword, great sword, pole arms, Viking weapons, Roman weapons, rapier (single, with dagger, buckler, cloak, etc) Smallsword, military and duelling sabre, combat knife, tomahawk and longknife, etc. Also unarmed stage combat techniques and practical defense unarmed combat (based on over 40 years’ instruction in aikido, judo, hapkido, shotokan and isshinryu karate, wing chun and hung gar kung fu, kobudo, and Philippine arnis.
