Eze Johnson Ogbonnaya

I am a self-motivated person with over 6 years’ experience in both budgeting and commercialization of meteorological products and services. I am an economist, a mathematician and currently studying to acquire masters in economics (M.Sc.) from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, who is driven to make a difference in the service of humanity. I thrive in an environment that is multicultural and truly international which promotes diversity and functions at its best through team work. I take delight in incorporating gender sensitive perspective to projects, while ensuring the equal participation of women and men in most areas of my work.

As a graduate of economics who understand the importance of quality data, and the need for good leadership in every organisation, I strive to do the right thing the right way always, to ensure good and effective leadership.

I currently work as a budgeting officer, budgeting of yearly Capital and recurrent expenditures of Nigerian Meteorological Agency, Abuja, performing budget monitoring for implementation of yearly capital and recurrent expenditures of the agency, and creating awareness and marketing of meteorological data to the public.

I have participated actively in development activities, capacity building/knowledge sharing and transfer as well as effective program planning and indicator design. I am a good team player with vast knowledge in M&E tools documentation. I am a strong team lead, who demonstrates a deep commitment to duties with an effective multitasking ability, and an eye on timeliness.

I am experienced in computer packages that are relevant for different project management and M&E like Microsoft Excel, Micro Soft Word, power point, DHIS2, SPSS.                                                                                               

My skills in monitoring and evaluation and my ability to learn fast as the need arises give me an edge in an ever-changing world of technology.
