I have developed a strong foundation in civil engineering through a combination of academic achievement and hands-on professional experience. My most recent role was with China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd, where I worked as an Assistant Laboratory Technician, Site Supervisor, and Assistant Administrator/Graduate Engineer from May 2023 to April 2024. In these positions, I was responsible for ensuring material quality control for concrete and various road layers across several infrastructure sub-projects, including Police Link, Kibaati Link, Tennis Court, New Bus Park Loop, and Nelson Mandela roads in Mubende Municipality. My daily duties involved conducting laboratory tests such as Field Density Tests, Sieve Analysis, Atterberg Limits, California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests, and Maximum Dry Density determinations. I also prepared contract agreements and payment certificates for subcontractors, managed the writing and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs), compiled and submitted daily work programs, and prepared comprehensive monthly reports. These responsibilities strengthened my technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Prior to this, I served as a Graduate Trainee at BATMAAK Engineering and Technology Solutions Ltd from March to May 2023, where I was tasked with preparing Bills of Quantities for building projects. This experience enhanced my skills in project estimation, cost analysis, and documentation, which are critical for effective project planning and management in the construction industry. My earlier experience as a Student Trainee at SPAN Contractors Limited in October and November 2021 exposed me to a wide range of site activities, including material quality control (such as concrete comprehensive strength and slump tests), structural setting out, placing steel reinforcement, excavation, foundation works, and general site supervision. These roles allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings and develop a keen understanding of on-site construction processes.

In addition to my work experience, I have completed relevant online training in Excel for business, creative problem solving, writing skills for leaders, and AutoCAD for design and drafting, further broadening my technical and analytical capabilities. My key skills include excellent communication (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), strong leadership and teamwork abilities, effective problem-solving and analytical skills, and the capacity to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. I am proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and have foundational knowledge of CAD, PlanSwift, Civil 3D, and MS Project. My interpersonal skills enable me to collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, and I am fluent in English
