Duration: 1 full day with Red Cross
Conceptual OR Big Understanding:
To understand how to act and respond in an first aid situation.
Why this unit?
So that students feel they have some knowledge and understanding of what to do when someone is hurt and needs their help.
What understanding do we want our students to have by the end of this unit:
Assessing dangers and being aware of dangers to avoid further accidents.
Learning what to do in an emergency.
Understand and demonstrate how you can help others in a first aid situation.
