IT Support Volunteer – Volunteer ship, January 2017 – March 2019 Vision Group • Provide day-to-day IT support and maintenance such as answering calls, transferring calls, data entry, and operating printers. • Provide helpdesk support to staff. • Handling user accounts for staff: set up new accounts, change passwords, and unblock users. • Install and administer software and hardware at the end-user point. • Ensure that programs on each machine are updated. • Attend to the IT-related needs of the users in all departments. • Deploy new computers for staff. Its major purpose is to track the company’s current subscribers’ payments. I am single-handedly handling the front-end development for this project. ● ChatApp: This is a simple chat application used for communication between the sender and receiver of the message being developed with Angular, NodeJS and MySQL ● ProSEIT: ProSEIT is an online platform to connect and unionize Ugandan IT professionals. Its frontend is being developed with ReactJS. ● SafeCruise: A mobile application being developed to reduce on the high numbers of road accidents along Ugandan Highways. The project is being developed with Ionic Angular. ● Go-checks: This is an online medical test ordering platform being developed with Angular and PHP.
