I'm Estefania Cruz, a recent Business Analytics graduate from California State University, Sacramento, with a strong foundation in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. I’m passionate about using data to uncover trends, solve problems, and support strategic decisions.
My technical skill set includes Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python. I’ve applied these tools in hands-on projects through my coursework, a fellowship with COOP Careers, and independent data projects. At COOP, I completed over 200 hours of training in analytics and collaborated with peers to clean, analyze, and visualize large datasets; building dashboards and presenting actionable insights to mock stakeholders.
In addition to technical skills, I bring real-world experience from roles like my time at the Sacramento State Library, where I managed data entry, organized digitized records in SharePoint, and helped reduce cataloging errors. These experiences taught me the importance of precision, organization, and adapting to different needs—skills that translate directly to data work.
I’m a first-generation college graduate with a strong work ethic, a love for learning, and a collaborative mindset. Whether I’m creating dashboards in Tableau or building pivot tables in Excel, I enjoy making complex data easy to understand and useful for decision-makers.
I'm excited to continue growing in the analytics space and contribute to a data-driven team where I can apply my skills to real business challenges.
