I am an experienced humanitarian and development professional with over 8 years of progressive experience working with international NGOs and UN agencies across Mozambique. I specialize in field operations management, project coordination, procurement, logistics, financial oversight, and emergency response. My career spans reputable organizations such as Johanniter International Assistance, World Vision International, CARE International, and UNICEF, where I have successfully led and supported programmes across the sectors of WASH, health, protection, food security, and social assistance.
Currently, I serve as a Field Manager with Johanniter, where I oversee multisectoral humanitarian operations in conflict-affected areas of Cabo Delgado. I coordinate teams across logistics, procurement, and programme departments, ensuring that activities are aligned with donor compliance (ECHO, USAID, BHA) and implemented effectively, even under security constraints. My work involves close collaboration with partners, government entities, and communities, ensuring impactful and coordinated responses.
Previously, I worked as Field Coordinator for World Vision, where I led Area Programme operations, supported the development and monitoring of annual plans and reports, and managed direct engagement with local authorities. I contributed to programme quality, risk management, safeguarding, and ensured adherence to financial standards. I also coordinated cash-based interventions, food distributions, and protection-sensitive activities, enhancing community ownership and sustainability.
As a WASH Emergency Specialist with UNICEF, I monitored partner activities, validated infrastructure reports, and supported data-driven planning for emergency WASH responses. My field-level technical support contributed to improved accountability and coordination among provincial stakeholders.
Academically, I hold a degree in Agronomic Engineering from Eduardo Mondlane University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. In addition, I have completed professional training in WASH in emergencies, nonprofit strategy, M&E, safeguarding, procurement, and security protocols.
I am fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English, with strong computer skills and adaptability to digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and project management platforms. My work ethic is built on integrity, proactivity, attention to detail, and accountability, and I thrive in dynamic environments where teamwork, innovation, and responsibility are valued.
I am passionate about making a positive impact and committed to using my skills to support efficient, transparent, and people-centered operations whether in humanitarian response or digital project coordination.
