I have a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA); academic credits in Master of Arts on Women in Development; and a degree in Bachelor of Science in Social Work. I have over 35 years of work experience. Since 2002, I have been working with the United Nations as gender adviser, institutional capacity building specialist, governance adviser, and strategic planning, monitoring and reporting consultant (Philippines, Afghanistan and Cambodia). Previous to this, I worked for 20 years with the Office of the President of the Philippines's Commission on Women, and later, as executive director of the same office, responsible for 116 staff/personnel. My specializations include programme/project conceptualization, development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation. I am competent in budgeting, knowledge product development, training, and proposal writing using results based management (RBM) and human rights based approach (HRBA). Working in a cross cultural setting is easy for me. I write and edit newsletters and publications in English and can provide guidance in lay-outing of publications. I could best be utilized in preparing proposals for UN agencies and multi lateral donors (i.e., USAID, EU, Nordic Countries, etc.), making visual presentations for high-level audiences, and coaching negotiators in resource mobilization.
