Eric Wabuyabo

I am a holder of a Masters degree in Economics awarded in 2017 by the University of Nairobi, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a specialist in computerised accounting.

I have over six years’ experience as a Finance and Audit Specialist and I have been able to effectively advise on donor budget strategies surrounding efficient and affordable service delivery by achieving desirable outcomes with less resources.

I have also assisted to achieve full compliance to partner and institutional requirements that reduced exposure to losses of assets to my current employer. I have equally assisted institutions prepare strategic plans that have assisted strengthen internal controls within their decision making units.

My contribution to research and publishing touches widely on technology and efficiency fields of study that are key inputs to efficient allocation of scarce resources. Among my publications include articles such as “Business process evolution stage gates”, published in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya Accountants Journal.

I have also written a research paper titled “Institutional Efficiency and Sustainable Response to HIV/AIDS in Nyanza and Western Kenya using Data Envelopment Analysis”. Equally important to note is that I serve in various boards of two Catholic Dioceses in Kenya.
