2022 – Till date: Clinical Officer at PCEA Women’s' Guild Dispensary Renguti, Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya.
Responsibilities
Basic diagnosis and treatment of common illness and medical conditions.
Provision of primary health care.
Referral of patients for admission, acting as liaison with referral centres.
Managing and monitoring patients admitted to the clinic.
Monitoring and reporting the incidence of infectious diseases such as diarrhea and malaria.
Ensured induction of new colleagues on sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS prevention and counselling.
Maintaining a daily register of patients and record of referrals as well as ensuring adequate stock levels of drugs and consumables are available.
