Eric Johnson

I am a University Graduate with a double major in Communications, and English, as well as a minor in Journalism. Writing is a key element in my life, and it is something that I do everyday. I have blogged for different websites, wrote content, and also served as a freelance reporter covering sporting events for the newspaper.

While doing freelance work for different outfits, I maintained a consistent work history. During my time in school, I worked as Game Day Coordinator, where I hired my own staff to look over, and manage all sporting events. I also worked as a supervisor with Tim Hortons, and once I graduated worked as a laborer in a lumber yard, before pursuing a career with CN Rail.

Although I haven’t held that content position that I am looking for, I believe my work history is very pertinent to the role I have applied for. I have a mixed bag resume, filled with computer/writing work, and industry/ retail work. I know both sides of the workforce, and I believe it could prove very useful in writing content for different companies.

Writing is in my blood. I have just completed the first draft of my first novel, and I've also spent ample amounts of time writing songs. Creativity is what I live for, and I hope that you’re the company to give the shot I have been seeking.
