Hello, my name is Eric Heinsen, I am originally from Portland, Oregon. I have an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems at Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. I chose MIS due to the fact technology seems to become more important day by day, along with my own personal enjoyment in seeing how things work. Over the summer of 2023, I had an internship at Intel. Through my project of overhauling their forecasting tool, I learned a lot about how the corporate world operates and how to communicate in a business setting. During the school year, I work with Sweet Spot Gaming, setting up events for all of Tucson, modernizing the events with automation.

Finance Internship, May 2023 – August 2023
Financial Analyst internship for Fortune 500 company (ranked 62nd) in the Data Center & Artificial Intelligence Group. Chartered with completely overhauling the home-grown quarterly forecasting tool. Required collaborating with multiple teams to rework / update the tool and increase its capabilities. Key results:

Added advanced capabilities, including streamlining of executive reporting and “what-if” capacity
