disease (EVD), Coronavirus diseases (COVID) among others.

Researching and analysing the ‘researchability’ of a topic base on data requirement

Designing, analysing and validating data collection tools/adopted survey methods;

The role of Community Health Watch Reporter at Nigeria Health Watch afforded me the
opportunity to contribute to healthcare services in primary health centers (PHCs) in Nigeria,
with published stories on Nigeria Health Watch Platform.
My role in this capacity included:
Attended stakeholders' engagement meetings;
Monitored and documented state of primary healthcare centers (PHCs), activities and
services within Suleja and Tafa LGAs and reported to the community engagement
officer;
Interviewed community members and stakeholders on their views and experiences at
the primary healthcare centers;
Reported and told human angle stories from data gathered from field to raise
awareness about healthcare successes and challenges;
Advocated for improvements of PHCs within the assigned local government areas
through Solution Journalism (SOJO).

importance of PHCs in building diseases resilient communities.
Built relationships between policy-makers, donor-agencies and the communities
