I hold over seven years of experience in program monitoring and evaluation, data management and
statistical data analysis within PEPFAR/CDC funded programs as a Strategic Information Lead, data
manager and data officer. This includes developing and maintaining data management workflows, designing
databases for data collection, developing, and maintaining data repositories for data access and archiving,
conducting data analysis for scientific writing and program use, and providing overall leadership roles over
Health informatics, Data management and Strategic Information.
I currently serve as a Senior Health Data Scientist for ICF where I provide support to the project on data
analytics. Prior to joining ICF I served as a Strategic Information lead and Data manager for CIHEB, a data
manager with UMB, a data officer at ICAP and NRHS where I was involved with program monitoring and
evaluation and data analysis. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from Kenyatta University.

This was a mid-level leadership role in steering the program’s data management unit.
I was responsible for program data management, data analysis and reporting.
• Management of program data including supporting data entry, data cleaning, standardization and
validation for reporting.
• Developing and providing technical support in management of program databases including
DATIM, 3PM, DRAWS and the KHIS so as to meet data requirements for the program, the MoH,
CDC and other stakeholders.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for donor reporting and
dissemination to program teams, MoH, CDC and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring concordance in all data management and reporting systems through regular revision and
updates.
• Participating in data abstraction, cleaning, analysis and writing for development of manuscripts and
abstracts. I have co-authored 10 abstracts presented at different conferences and currently
contributing to 2 manuscripts being developed.

• Developed and implemented a Data Quality Audit tool used in RDQA at supported facilities.
• Developed and maintained databases in Ms Access and Ms Excel for the project.
• Trained facility health records staff on data capture, reporting and management for the DSD at 25
pilot facilities in Siaya County.
• Developed and implemented a dashboard in Ms Excel to visualise project data and performance
for donor, NASCOP and program use.

quantitative data across the HIV services cascade.
