I am a self-taught filmmaker and a senior student of Film and Media Studies at Kaposvár. My journey began with online tutorials in video editing and special effects, which inspired me to create several amateur short films, starting with just my phone and gradually advancing to professional equipment.
Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience across nearly all areas of production, including producing, editing, assisting direction, cinematography, and even prop design. In terms of technical expertise, I am proficient in photo editing using Lightroom and Photoshop, and video editing and color grading with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. I am capable of developing new skills or learning new systems rather quickly as well as working together with others and solving problems.
While my primary focus has been on short films, I have also collaborated with artists like Polo Farrera, aiding in his photographic series exploring themes of death and memory. During the pandemic, I worked as an editor with Sara Eliassen on a documentary project for her doctoral thesis, which examines the role of the media in the creation of narratives. Additionally, I have also covered events such as film and music festivals as well as concerts.
Beyond filmmaking, I’ve ventured into experimental photography, bookbinding, 3D animation, and other digital media. I have always been an avid seeker of knowledge and I try to constantly challenge myself in areas I have not worked in before.
