Elsis Sitati Murumba

I have been working primarily as a backend software engineer for the last 3  years across different industries. I started my career as a web developer creating web applications for clients at a dev shop.

Later on, I moved to work for Andela a  company that trains developers and places them to work in distributed teams across the globe. I started out as an in-house developer working to build applications that automated the various business processes in Andela.  I am currently working as a Data Engineer at Viacom’s Data Platform team helping them scale their data pipelines.

Throughout my career, I have become skilled in Python, Flask, Django, Javascript, SQL, ReactJs,  AWS services, Apache Spark, Docker, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow and Postgres. I am passionate about learning new technologies and building impactful products.

With my determination, passion for software development and the ability to adapt to new situations, I believe I  would be a valuable addition to the any team.
