Hi! I’m Elsa, a Registered Nurse with over 3 decades of clinical experience, most of which I spent in a tertiary hospital in Saudi Arabia. I specialized in Pediatrics, where I cared for children with a wide variety of conditions—ranging from common medical cases to more complex ones involving Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, and Cardiology. Supporting not only the patients but also their families has always been close to my heart.

Throughout my career, I held various leadership roles such as Team Leader, Charge Nurse, and Clinical Instructor. These roles gave me the chance to mentor junior nurses, lead teams during high-pressure situations, and ensure high standards of patient care. I was deeply involved in infection control practices, documentation audits, and preparing units for hospital accreditation. I’ve always believed that attention to detail and good teamwork are keys to safe and efficient patient care.

Recently, I transitioned into the virtual healthcare space and completed training as a Medical Virtual Assistant. In this role, I provide support to healthcare providers by handling EMR/EHR management, appointment scheduling, telehealth coordination, insurance verification, and prior authorizations. I’m trained in HIPAA compliance and experienced with platforms such as Practice Fusion and simple practice and DrChrono. I enjoy helping streamline clinic operations while still using my clinical knowledge to make meaningful contributions.

Beyond my nursing and virtual assistant roles, I also run a small creative project called TinyHeartsRN. It’s a space where I create educational printables and nurse-friendly tools using Canva and ChatGPT. From patient education handouts to planners and reference sheets, I design resources that are practical, informative, and visually appealing—perfect for fellow nurses, students, or caregivers.

I take pride in being reliable, adaptable, and empathetic—whether I’m at the bedside, in a virtual workspace, or working on a design project. With my solid clinical background and a heart for service, I bring a unique blend of professionalism and creativity to every role I take on.
