Jane, a newcomer to the freelance world, began her career in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative for a telephone company. She then worked as a Retention Specialist in a radio-satellite company until the pandemic took its toll on the business. She was hired as a QuickBooks desktop Technical Support because of her dependable nature. Her enthusiasm for learning new things, honing her skills, and consistently delivering high-quality results led to her promotion to QuickBooks Payroll Specialist.
Owing to her nearly two years of experience in the BPO industry, Jane is a familiar voice in the call center scenario, providing the best customer experience possible. She was often regarded by her colleagues for having a stable mindset in her career, and life, in general. Because of her comforting presence in the workplace, Jane attracted people with the same creative mindset, and also gained mentors in the BPO industry, and recently, in the freelancing world.
Just this year 2021, her freelancing instinct was awakened through the support of Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), a government institution that promotes national ICT development in the Philippines. With the help of her mentor, co-trainers, friends, former colleagues, and acquaintances, she is slowly building her presence in the online world.
