Elion Gerguri

I am an enthusiastic professional with over 5 years of experience in international development and sustainability. In my past roles with BGF, I honed my skills in researching, networking, fundraising, managing, reporting, and advocating. I would like to highlight the following qualifications and achievements:

● Developed 5 project proposals of which 3 were awarded with a total value of EUR 620,000

● Managed an EU-funded project (EUR 500,000) to promote municipal green transformation

● Managed a year-long advocacy campaign: “The Future is Green, Act Now!”

● Networked with CEE Bankwatch, Europe Beyond Coal, CAN Europe, Balkan Green Network, etc.

● Followed policy developments in the EU and WB6 to feed the Balkan Energy Prospect platform

● Authored and co-authored 3 reports on sustainable development in Kosovo and WB6

● Represented CSOs in the drafting of the Kosovo National Climate and Energy Plan (NECP)

● Worked with a core team of stakeholders for a common vision for an energy transition in Kosovo
