My career in the video production industry began with a voluntary position at Mandara SDA Media, where I started as a camera operator. In this role, I was responsible for setting up lighting and equipment prior to shoots, as well as filming shows for their social media channels. I was later promoted to the position of video editor in 2020, which I currently hold at Mandara SDA Media.

As a video editor at Mandara SDA Media, I use various techniques, such as multi-camera sequencing, to edit videos for premiere on Mandara's Facebook and YouTube platforms. I utilize software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut to incorporate overlays, motion graphics, and suspenseful background music, resulting in captivating promotional videos for our upcoming programs.

In 2022, I began doing freelance remote work, specifically editing videos for a YouTube channel called Project Optimize. In this role, I edit both long-form and short-form content for YouTube, working collaboratively with my clients to enhance videos for online publication. This includes audio editing and mixing, ensuring synchronized audio and balanced sound levels, as well as applying transitions, visual effects, and color correction techniques to enhance video quality and aesthetics.

Currently, I am seeking opportunities to work with more clients, both locally and internationally. With the experience I have gained over the years, I am confident in my ability to expertly edit any type of video to meet my client's specific requirements.
