Grupo Posadas is the leading hospitality group in México with +150 hotels and 7 brands, I reported
directly to the CIO and was in charge of the IT operations of the rates and reservations distribution
platform, the loyalty programs, and the vacation club systems where I improved the service levels,
systems stability, reduced the number of critical incidents, implemented standard processes,
reduced the IT operational costs and improved the customer satisfaction. Some of my activities

Improved SLAs, decreased critical incidents, improved user satisfaction indicators and
stabilized platforms directing the support teams that monitored the technology platform's
stability, resolved and prevented incidents and monitored events, recorded problems, and
collaborated with other IT areas and key users.
Decreased the operative technological cost of the platforms implementing and optimizing
processes and resources, migrating platforms, negotiating licensing, costs, and payment
methods with providers, besides defining the budget according to the business strategy and
the main projects in the roadmap.
Met the business objectives of the projects I directed in scope and costs, monitored and
planned costs, schedule, risks, team meetings, and reporting to the main stakeholders. Many
of the projects were with people from different countries.
Improved the process compliance indicators in change, events, incidents, and problem
processes. I was responsible for monitoring and follow up with the providers' results and
service improvement.
Main projects:
• 2 datacenters migrations. Migrated and consolidated 45 applications and services
coordinating 10 companies and dozens of people.
• Several interfaces implementations and integrations for the delivery and receipt of
thousands of messages between providers to handle rates and reservations.
• Major changes, maintenances and upgrades to websites, databases and internal
systems.
