My name is Edem Afidemenyo I am very interested in this position as a customer service and QA Technician, as I feel it is a perfect match for my current skill set and educational background. I have a long track record of successfully making sure that the computer systems of individuals, homes, and businesses alike are functioning properly. I currently work for an IT firm where I serve as an Network Systems Administrator. My responsibilities range from client support to updating network infrastructure. My biggest accomplishment at my current employer is being promoted from a support technician to a network administrator within a 2 year period. I have also acquired various certifications and training to help me along the way.
For the last six years, I have been employed by GDS Africa, working with a team of professionals providing 24/7 IT solutions for both in-house staff and onsite clients. The best part of my job however, is interacting with my clients. Customer support is a very important part of my job, so much, that we are required to read about the various ways to enhance our customer service skills. Recently, I ran across an article on the website which-50.com and I found it interesting because their research discovered that clients valued privacy, transparency, and trust over customer service. In my opinion, all of the aforementioned should be a part of the customer service experience. In fact, I recently worked with a customer that needed a minor service done on his network and my manager requested that I personally take care of the issue because of the service that the client required. When I finished the job, the client expressed his satisfaction and actually gave my company a referral. This not only made me happy, but the management team as well.
Currently my availability is open, as I am used to working on call and/or flexible schedules. I would love to speak with you further about my background and how I can become an asset to your organization. I have attached my resume for review and I look forward to speaking with you.
Thank you.
