My name is Dzsenifer Gerőfy and I was born and raised in Hungary. I got my Bachelor's degree from the University of Pécs. For 3 years my major was Russian Studies, and for 2 years I had Russian Translation as my minor. Thanks to this, I could learn and practice translation in multiple hours a week. I also participated in the Erasmus exchange programme, which let me study in Riga, Latvia for two semesters. I studied Russian Linguistics at the University of Latvia. Because of that, English became my every day language, since I was constantly surrounded by foreign students, and also perfected my Russian, since half of the Latvian population's native language is Russian. My native language is Hungarian, I got my C1 advanced English language exam in 2019, and my B2 intermediate Russian language exam in 2023. As a fresh graduate, I would like to find a suiting job for my knowledge, hence why I would like to be a translator.
