About

I did bachelor of science (Physics major and Mathematics minor) at Moi University, Kenya from the year 2015 to 2019. I graduated with first class honors and pursued Master of Science in Sustainable Energy and Energy Access at Moi University from 2021 to 2023. I have experience in conducting research work in energy projects. My master's research project is on a hybrid concentrated solar power-biomass combustion system, where I have designed a small model for power generation.

I have acquired a great deal of knowledge in various sectors such as solar, wind, bioenergy, hydropower, geothermal energy, decentralized energy systems, energy efficiency and conservation, energy project management and finance, energy entrepreneurship and business models, energy markets, policy and regulation, research methods and scientific writing, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, and electronics.

I am a flexible person who can work in various tasks apart from my specialized area of study. This I demonstrated by serving as a chairperson for Science Students' Association in school of Science from 2019 to 2021. My duties were: to preside over all meetings of the executive council, be association's spokesperson, sign for and on behalf of the association and perform other duties as agreed on by the executive council.

I also served as a deputy presiding officer for Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in 2022. My duties were: to collect and ensure security of all election materials, oversee efficient and effective management of the election before, during and after election, ensure good conduct of election in the polling station, counting, tallying and announcing provisional results at the polling station, ensure safe custody of all entrusted documents and document handover of all election materials and equipment to the returning officer after election, and assisted in training of polling clerks.

I also served as a polling clerk for Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in 2017. My duties were: to set up demarcation of the polling station, verify the voter's name and identification number electronically and in the register, issue ballot papers to voters, mark voters to show they have voted, manage queues and direct voters to respective polling stations and ensure the security of election materials under my custody.

Last but not least, I am a leader who has served in various capacities since high school up to university level. I can demonstrate a firm sense of responsibility and the capacity to work hard under pressure to meet deadlines. I seek to leverage both technical skills and essential transferable skills that I possess to realize the objectives and dreams of clients.
