I am Jon Paolo Dimarucut, a Computer Science student at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, with a strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and creating meaningful digital experiences. My journey has been shaped by a blend of academic projects, internships, and leadership roles that have allowed me to grow both technically and personally.

During my internship at CK Children’s Publishing and Printing, I contributed to web development, QA testing, and data entry for web-based platforms. I assisted in improving user interfaces and functionality, while also playing a role in developing AI-powered school agents. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with teams, and apply technical knowledge to real-world challenges.

Beyond my technical foundation, I also gained valuable leadership and organizational skills as Assistant Manager at Creamery Studios CDO. In this role, I oversaw daily operations, ensured customer satisfaction, and optimized processes using IT solutions. Managing a team and maintaining brand standards taught me the importance of communication, efficiency, and building strong relationships skills that complement my technical expertise and make me versatile in different work environments.

Academically, I have worked on diverse projects that showcase my problem-solving abilities and creativity. These include developing CampusGuide AI, a smart assistant for USTP students, building a binary-image converter in Assembly MIPS, and implementing efficient search algorithms in C++. I also explored game development through a Java-based top-down shooter inspired by my campus. Each project reflects my curiosity, persistence, and commitment to learning new technologies.

I continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge, as shown by my certifications in networking, inbound marketing, content marketing, and responsive web design. These credentials highlight my interest in bridging technical skills with digital marketing and strategy, allowing me to contribute not only as a developer but also as someone who understands how technology supports business growth.

At the core, I am detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated by helping teams work more efficiently.
