Diego Alberto Dengo Soto

My name is Diego Alberto Dengo Soto, and I am a dedicated student currently pursuing a dual degree in Industrial Engineering and Public Accounting at the University of Costa Rica. My academic path is defined by a strategic focus on optimization and the use of technical tools to drive informed decision-making in the industrial sector. I consider myself a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in data analysis and visualization, skills that I have cultivated to support continuous improvement within any organization I join.

In terms of technical expertise, I have developed solid experience in programming and automation using Python, which allows me to streamline complex workflows. This is complemented by my advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA for modeling and automated reporting, as well as my ability to manage data through SQL and transform it into actionable insights using Power BI dashboards. Furthermore, my professional preparation includes a Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC), which equips me with agile methodologies to lead teams and manage projects effectively.

My professional experience includes a significant role as a Research Assistant at the Analysis and Quality Unit (UAC) of CICA-UCR, where I was responsible for the quality control of technical reports and the validation of analytical data. During this time, I also applied my skills in data visualization to create charts and representations of research results. Previously, I served as a Customer Service and Warehouse Inventory Control Manager, a role that required me to manage inventory accuracy and provide efficient solutions to customer inquiries, further strengthening my organizational and communication skills.

In addition to my technical capabilities, I pride myself on my soft skills, which include critical thinking, problem-solving, and a high capacity for learning and leadership. I am a native Spanish speaker with a B2 level of English, allowing me to operate effectively in diverse professional environments.
