OBJECTIVES
To be able to apply all the innovative ideas and learning I have acquired through put my student year, share the knowledge and expertise that I have learned from my previous job experiences and further be updated in the new methods and ideas that are related to my fields and specializations.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
Collect and prepare specimens and perform laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.
Verify record and report laboratory results on all performed tests.
Ensure compliance with government requirements, hospital policies, and laboratory procedures including maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory equipments, instruments and work area.
Supervises and monitor technical and quality operations of the clinical laboratory.
Performs and ensure quality control.
Act as training coordinator for the laboratory and supervises training of affiliates and volunteers.
Participates an activities related to blood donation.
Prepares requisition of supplies and materials for the department.
Performs weekly/ monthly inventory of supplies and reagents.
Performs specialized laboratory services in Drug Testing Section and Microbiology Section.
Observes proper biohazard waste disposal.
Performs other related functions as may assigned.
