ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT-SWATANTRA BHARAT
Atma nirbhar Bharat is the vision of the honorable Prime Minister, MR. Narendra Damodardas Modi. It was launched on 12 May 2020. Since independence, India has been striving to be an independent country in every aspect.
This Abhiyan is the visionary of our pm, he wants us to be self-sufficient, self-reliant, and be vocal for local.
This mission never says that you should isolate from the rest of the world, but become self-dependent. PM wants us to become a nation that would be the best of all, a nation to be praised and raised.
He wants us to become one of the most developed countries, a country that does not depend on others.
For this, he has started this mission during the relief package's announcement for the ongoing pandemic. This pandemic has taught us many things, and the main thing is being self-dependent.
Counters cannot help each other if we consider the current situation. It's the reason why we should be self-reliant. As a developing nation, and a nation with the most significant number of youths, the one with the largest population, we also have the best ancient scripts.
However, we are still majorly dependent on other countries. The reports have found that 80 percent of our products are imported. It has increased the scope for private participation in various sectors.
This mission is the re-packaging of Make in India. India is finding ways to be self-reliant. Like creating various employment facilities by setting up industries, factories, etc. in India.
We have been trying hard to become a self-sufficient country and be in those top countries everyone talks about.
And in my opinion, the drastic change in educational policy by announcing NEP is one of the essential differences in the dependency ratio. The new 5+3+3+4 system is the best update in the policy.
As per the new Education Policy, students can now learn different types of skilled works like carpentry, plumbing, hairdressing, etc. This will help them become self-reliant. This is one of the best aspects of the new education system.
One of the most significant changes in the policy is imparting coding or programming knowledge to the students starting from grade 6. Within the passing years, India has progressed in every field, including IT and industrial sectors, as significant fields.
IT has played an essential role in making the Indian nation self-reliant because people have been using the internet as a source of income, e.g., e-commerce, websites, YouTube, Instagram, digital marketing, and freelancing.
The government has also started various fast loan facilities, one of which is providing up to 10 lakhs as loans for helping business owners, both big and small, to set up a sustainable business.
The government has also started schemes like Make in India, Made in India, vocal for local, etc. helping small business holders to become self-efficient. India has also been working on projects like hydropower etc. to be self-sufficient in resources like electricity.
A significant step towards self-reliant India is that colleges in India can now set up their campus outside the country. The best one is that the world's top 100 universities can now set up their campuses in India.
This step will surely help as the bright students of our country prefer to go to the world's top universities. So the best students who went out for studies and tried to settle there can now live in their own countries and work for their country.
Here's a great point in agriculture.
Agriculture has been given significant attention to producing good export quality products after meeting national needs. This government is providing free equipment, seeds, etc. to the farmers. Also, they are provided by low-interest loans for their lands.
