Part of the Sportpesa group, Kentech is a recognized provider of custom solutions across various verticals, specializing in the
online entertainment industry with focus on sports in multiple countries. Kentech offer turnkey large-scale computing solutions,
systems support, web development and web-based applications, customized for the specific market needs and demands.
Employed as a full time DevOps / SysAdmin, duties include:
Solutions Design and consultancy: working closely with the project managers / developers and QA to ensure design
issues are identified and project risks are mitigated as early as possible. Working closely with different layer staff to produce
the requirements and deployment procedures to ensure successful product delivery.
Office Infrastructure Engineering and Management: Supporting existing office server and network infrastructure to ensure
compliance with operational standards of the company. Researching, Designing and Improving the infrastructure to meet
expectations for the future.
Technical Document Writing: creating, updating, and submitting detailed design documentation on infrastructure and
deployment procedures.
Solution Implementation: Working with various teams in different countries to make sure product is successfully deployed,
tested and released across different environments (pre-production, uat, production). Assisting as necessary with
troubleshooting and fixing of discovered issues.
Day to day activities:
Configuration and management of VMWare vSphere cluster. Researching and conducting Proof of Concept deployments,
performance testing of different VMWare alternatives (oVIrt, Proxmox + CEPH, Nutanix).
Configuration and management of different network equipment. Cisco ASA 5515-X (Firepower Edition), Fortigate, Cisco
Nexus, Juniper, HP switches. DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VRRP, Firewall, VPN.
Writing pipelines for internal CI / CD environment. Building custom docker images, deployment scripts, code control ensuring that requirements on code coverage, unit tests, integration tests, SAST are met, pipelines executes correctly, and

Network Design and Engineering: Designing, Implementing and maintaining network infrastructure within the offices and
datacenters.
Hardware and Software Solution design and Engineering: Researching, Designing, Implementing and maintaining Office
and Datacenter hardware and software infrastructure.

Setup Live environment based on both Hardware (Datacenter) and Virtual (Cloud providers) servers for both internal and client
