SYNOPSIS OF EXPERIENCE
Currently, I am working as “Manager” in “Product Portfolio Project Strategy Team”, Viatris, Bangalore and my responsibilities lies to achieve day to day product portfolio assignment.
More than 11 Years of experience in Data Validation and Dashboard Report development using MS Excel and power point for Pharma Industry strategy & portfolio management.
Identification and assessment of new products for strengthening product Viatris pipeline. To evaluate commercial attractiveness of Viatris products portfolio by in-depth evaluation of market size, competition, IP landscape & launch timelines.
Market intelligence and business analysis:
New product identification, selection, evaluation for further review. Identify and define the major strategic issues for the organization and integrate diverse stakeholder interests.
Analyze sales forecast and business for new opportunities & run quantitative and qualitative analysis
Gap analysis and business case analysis for leveraging existing dossiers across markets (Generic+ Branded Generic).
Business Strategy development:
Read the market data, competition, new approvals to create a product list for further evaluation
Work closely with Business, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and the regional portfolio teams to design and implement a strategy development process. Strategy recommendation for business could be short to long term and ensure the implementation process to ensure the success of all strategic initiatives over the next 3-5 years.
Participate in the strategic planning and business review process and contribute towards marketing planning and execution.
Creating PowerPoint presentations for global workshops conducted by Global Portfolio Strategy Group who runs the process by which new products are adopted into Viatris pipeline (Portfolio Review Board (PRB). The audiences for these data requests can range from regional group to the Directors of Viatris.
Ideation Process:
I as part of Global Portfolio Team act as bridge between the Ideation Process Teams, identify a product opportunity.
Send the lists to different Ideation teams to review. Example - Marketing feasibility of ideas provided - GKB and Marketing Team. To review Commercial feasibility of ideas generated - Global Commercial Leads, Regional Commercial and Portfolio Teams. To review technical (development and clinical) feasibility and capabilities for the ideas generated (R&D Team) and provide Costs of Goods (CoGs) estimate. To review regulatory feasibility of the plan (Regulatory Team).
Internal resources and capabilities will be reviewed.
I ensure any changes in commercial value of a pipeline product is not missed.
I do review of PRB-approved products which have not been selected for the Workplan.
Commercial intelligence and target launch dates are reviewed with the Regional Portfolio teams.
Organizational development and communication:
Conducting Portfolio Steering Committee meetings with on-shore team. Coordinating with R&D and business teams on the status of product development and periodic review of portfolio including products that are under development
Check NCE dates, market growth, & other metrics.
Handle business escalations (Emails & Calls).
Providing feedback and suggestion to development team on User Interface for internal tools which make the internal tool more efficient from the user’s perspective.
SPOC for broadcasting of information on process changes or change in internal tools.
Analyze quality audit report, recommend enhancements, share best practices within teams through “I-share” initiative aim to improve quality.
Implement Corrective and preventive action (CAPA), to improve the business processes in order to eliminate causes of undesirable situations.
Portfolio Application Management:
I support development team to developing functional requirements for the Internal Portfolio Application. Making the development team to understand about the data flow and implementation of business processes, activities, information.
I provide the reasons and benefits for the required application enhancement.
Involve in application testing for the updated Portfolio application and major the impact of the enhancements.
Providing training to the country’s lead and other business team and making them how to use the application and what are the major enhancements are completed in the newer version of application.
IQVIA Dataview/Smart Global MIDAS knowledge: Dataview is a powerful market research tool that enables us to view sales performance and to analyze pharmaceutical information and produce a wide variety of reports and charts.
IPD Analytics: It provides researched data to forecast new product entry, loss of exclusivity, and other competitive factors impacting product positioning and life cycles within the healthcare and technology sectors. Define the KPI frameworks for new launches of products to evaluate progress.
Global Data: It is very good source of pharmaceutical value-added data to help you with your key strategic activities, like - Market & Competitive Intelligence, Innovation & R&D, Marketing and Business Development.
