Customs Rater at Descartes Systems Group
Responsabilities:
• Review shipment documentation
• Clear HVS and LVS shipments
• Interaction with customers by phone and email to resolve issues or request missing
documents
• Accurate classification of the import items with the appropriate duties
• Correction of rejected entries
• Organization of workload to facilitate the submission of data in a timely manner to the Canada
Border Services Agency (CBSA)
• Clearance of a high volume of entries
• Prepare RMD corrections
• Monitor work queue and contact customs brokers base on the shipment’s estimated time of
arrival (ETA) at the border.
