• Spearheaded the editing team in Nairobi for notable events such as Doing
Zero, a COP26 Initiative, and the African Crossroads hybrid event titled
Ecoexistence.
• Created graphical assets and transitional elements using video software,
and identified video structure and followed logical sequences.
• Optimized outputs with a good understanding of codecs, compression, and
transcoding.
• Manipulated on-screen assets such as animated illustrations, logo
animations, and lower thirds using the Adobe Creative Suite for Doing Zero,
which served as impactful educational and promotional materials.
• Participants hailed the event for transforming their businesses, making
them more cost-efficient and environmentally conscious.
• Managed schedule and submitted requirements before deadline.
Researched and executed a streaming solution for the Ecoexistence event,
seamlessly connecting Zoom with 5 physical sites across Africa
(Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria & Kenya) and streaming it on
YouTube to over 200 Zoom guests and 900+ viewers online.
• Introduced innovative asset creation and video/audio editing styles,
significantly boosting engagement on Instagram (to over 2k likes,
comments, and shares) with some videos reaching 45k+ views.
• Optimized the production process, ensuring consistent weekly episode
releases and increasing listenership from 150+ to 450+ monthly.
• Saved a minimum of 12 hours per week, doubling this during the festival
season by automating scheduling, publishing, and volunteer management.
