I am a passionate and professional editor and proofreader with over ten years’ experience. My forte is editing and proofreading book manuscripts in particular (fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, short stories), but also includes social media posts, blogs, websites, scripts, poems, company documents, reports, CVs / resumes, and more. My skills extend beyond mere editing to also include developmental editing (taking a raw manuscript and working together with the author to fill in any gaps, flesh out any characters, add extra context for better linkage and flow etc.), and overall guidance in terms of publishing and publishers if need be.

As a writer myself, I am able to attune to the essence or ‘spirit’ of any editing project I am honored to work on, meaning the ability to retain the voice and writing style of the author while ensuring a polished and perfect read.

I am also negotiable in terms of rates when it comes to larger projects.
