As a Finance and Tax Specialist with a Master's in Business Administration, I have honed my skills in financial analysis, tax management, budgeting, and financial reporting. My career at GDC Sacco, Society limited has been marked by notable achievements. I've prepared comprehensive financial statements, collaborated on annual budgets, conducted project evaluations, and ensured accurate record-keeping of purchase orders. I've also streamlined Accounts Payables and stock transactions to adhere to accounting standards.

In my previous role as an accounting assistant, I successfully reconciled long-pending accounts, managed inventory, and prepared requisitions for various departments. I played a pivotal role in statutory deductions, maintained books of accounts, and handled utility bill payments with precision.

My early career as a teller instilled a strong customer-centric approach, enhancing my interpersonal and communication skills. Some of my proudest achievements include reconciling long-pending accounts, advising on zero-rating Pay bill deposit charges resulting in a 100% surge in deposit mobilization and developing a Finance and Accounting manual for prudent financial resource utilization.

I pioneered the management accountant role within Sacco and streamlined bank reconciliation tasks with remarkable efficiency, eliminating errors entirely. Additionally, I led a high-performing team in implementing an advanced data analytics and business intelligence tool, revolutionizing decision-making processes.

I hold a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Education in Economics and Mathematics. I am also pursuing a Financial Modeling & Valuation Certification (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute and am a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K).
