WHO AM I
David, human, father of two, husband, professional in audiovisual communications with over
11 years of experience in digital marketing and about 6 in data analysis, business intelligence
and performance optimization. I am passionate about learning, acting on data-backed
insights and finding solutions to business problems.
I excel in refining and optimizing processes to achieve maximum e iciency and clear
objectives. Challenges invigorate me, and I tackle them with a blend of creativity, critical
thinking, and a results-oriented mindset. I believe that data, methodologies, and technologies
are merely instruments to achieve success, therefore I am prepared to deploy whatever is
necessary to resolve business issues e ectively.
My adaptability to di erent teams, budgets, and tools has directly contributed to my wide
array of technical skills. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in data science,
coding, dashboarding, campaign management, social media, and content creation. This
integral knowledge allows me to bring a unique perspective to the table.
WHAT I’VE DONE
Technodrones (2019 – Present): I’ve spent the last 5 years growing the family business. I created the
brand, and manage its digital presence, but most importantly; I built the operational framework and
technological infrastructure that allowed the company to expand and increase revenue by 60% from
2020 to 2023.
I laid the groundwork for a data-driven organization, creating and measuring KPIs that influence pricing
algorithms, inventory prioritization, shipping, e-commerce integrations, and accounting automations
that enable the e ective operation of a team of +4 employees with inventory in two countries,
managing 1.500 SKUs and over 400 clients.
Proximity Colombia (2017 – 2019): At Proximity I grew and experienced growth; began managing
Visa Inc. social media in Latin America, where I stood out for my strategic approach and rigorous
process management.
Which led me to an incredible opportunity to serve as an in-house consultant directly within Visa Inc.’s
LAC Digital Marketing Team where I managed the Visa’s Everywhere Initiative 2018 campaign focused
on participant engagement and other regional projects.
Then, back at Proximity, I worked as a digital planner / growth hacker, where I initiated and led Visa’s
first experiments in using data to optimize creative assets e ectively in real-time, most notably on 2019
A luent Campaign.
Before that: I worked as a Sr. Community Manager for Avianca at BRM (digital agency, 2016) and as a
Sales Representative and CM at Imaginamos (dev. studio that created Rappi, 2014).
