I am a native-born United States Citizen. I am, also, extraordinarily fluent in (American) English language. I know and understand all of the usual idioms; and my general use of grammar, syntax, and punctuation is excellent. 

Professionally speaking, I am a competent proofreader as well as a talented self-editor with a demonstrable eye for detail. My work is always carefully reviewed and ready (or ‘near-ready’) for publication prior to submission. 

Additionally, I have a good basic understanding of how to use SEO keywords, meta descriptions, and crosslinks correctly, along with a working familiarity of both the Modern Language Association and Chicago Manual Of Style document presentation and formatting. Recently I built my own (presently offline) WordPress CMS. 

My background includes 30 + years of sales, marketing, appraisal analysis, and technical report writing experience. I am presently retired; but, ‘back in the day’ I was an award-winning salesman; and my technical (usually property) reports have been widely read and relied upon by various: banks, law offices, private real estate investment, and professional property management companies throughout the greater New York metropolitan area, and beyond. 

Before I retired my name frequently appeared on Merrill Lynch Relocation Management’s national list of leading property appraisers and income stream analysis. Additionally, I was, also, accepted by the New Jersey courts as an expert real estate witness. 

Succinctly, I am a retired real estate broker, and high-quality technical report writer, as well as a past member in good standing of The National Association of REALTORS®, The National Association Of Independent Fee Appraisers***, and The Society Of Real Estate Appraisers***; and I, was academically qualified by ‘The Society’ as an ‘SRPA’ (Senior Real Property Analyst).

Avocationally, I am a Life Member of The National Rifle Association as well as a multi-certified Firearms Instructor for rifle, pistol, shotgun, home firearm safety, and in-home personal self-defense. (I ain’t too shabby at knowing how to take care of myself outside the home, either.) 

I am also a competent pistolsmith, an expert Glock mechanic, and ammunition (metallic cartridge, and shotshell) handloader. Over the years I’ve done a lot of long-range rifle work, and I’m able to easily move between MIL-Dot and MOA optical reference systems. (I understand each system well.) 

My outdoor experience includes more than 4 decades of backwoods: hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, first aid, and whitewater canoeing. In past years I’ve sojourned for as long as 3 full weeks, either by myself or with one or two other people, in remote wilderness areas. 

I am, of course, familiar with all different sorts of outdoor camping equipment, tools, axes, knives, snares, fire-starting devices, and sundry survival techniques. I am also an expert deep woods magnetic compass orienteer who knows how to read topographical maps very well. Finally, I am an experienced animal trainer as well as a (retired) breeder of guard, tracking, and search dogs.
